Calophyllus, also called Guanandi, is a tree of the family Clusiaceae. From the Latin word Calophyllum, it reaches 20 to 50 m high and 1.50 m in diameter. The leaves are up to 1.5 cm long and 6.3 cm wide. The plant, popular in Brazil, is used to obtain essential oil. Calophyllum inophyllum oil is rich in Omegas 6 and Omegas 9, it is soothing and restorative, is a good service for damaged or problem skin.
