Also called "acute rhinitis", the common cold is a viral illness that affects us most during the winter. This ENT infection is orchestrated by hundreds of invading viruses. Its symptoms include inflammation of the nose mucosa, a runny nose, sneezing and sore throat pain.
Ravintsara is both a cold-preventing essential oil and immune stimulant. It is used for regular local massage of the plexus thorax, wrists or soles of the feet during the winter months.
Niaouli is effective for anti-infectious treatment. Best for inhalation. Pour 4 to 6 drops in simmering water and breathe the steam for a few minutes.

Blending several essential oils
When you get a cold, it usually lasts about ten days. Inflammations, laryngitis or bronchitis may come out thereafter. If it is more severe, make sure you choose a highly effective treatment. To do so, make a blend of anti-viral and anti-bacterial actions in Tea Tree with Niaouli, Thymol Thyme, Eucalyptus radiata and cold-knocking Ravintsara essential oils. Such blend actually provides a pronounced healing affinity in the ENT sphere. It is also a remarkable yet highly resistant respiratory decongestant.
All these oils are appreciated for their exceptional antiviral properties. Alongside the properties mentioned above, Niaouli essential oil for cold, for its part, serves as expectoration facilitator and helps boost our immunity by stimulating the adrenal glands. Thus, the synergy mix in tea tree with eucalyptus radiata and Ravintsara essential oils is an effective remedy to prevent infectious diseases. To enjoy its benefits, mix 15 drops of each of these essential oils with 5 ml of carrier oil (avocado, jojoba, argan, ...). Then apply it directly to the thorax.
